I remember that video section. One thing that stood out to me was he was running what appeared to be a Coaster Brake. Not many people were anymore @ at that time. I never felt comfortable riding one but the ones that did had some distinct styles. Ron Wilkerson's one footed on the deck abubaca's, Eddie Roman's early street moves, Moliterno's abubaca / tail tap barspin trickery, and even Todd Anderson's crazy front brake and coaster rear vert / street style paved the way.
Styles and bike set ups seem to come and go so maybe it will come back again? Maybe I'm just getting old?
I still feel dangerous when I ride one those things! Haha...

I had the worst luck with coaster brakes and free coasters. Just not my cup of tea.
