The Rig Is Back Together--Solid

Manage to finally get the rig back together and feeling like a bike that I feel comfortable on. Needs one or two little tweaks, but as it is it feels great.

And here is a photo of me squeaking on the coping in our backyard. Thanks to Jonas for taking such rad photos. You rule!

And big thanks to Empire, Profile, Demolition and Solid BMX!

Jim Johnson

Former Schwinn team rider and AFA flatland ruler has a come out of retirement. Not sure what that means, but at some point I want to get out to Florida to ride his ramp. That thing looks sick.

New coping!

Installed coping on the ramp yesterday. Ramp is so much more fun with it on there. Filmed a few mess around clips today with the Zi8. Clink, clank. Neighbors are going to love that.

Ramp add on.

We have a ways to go to getting this ramp fully finished. But just to add a little to it today I took the old slant wall frame from the old set up, ramp was a free-be from San Marcos. Thanks James. But it was in need of a ton of work. As was this slant wall. I re-framed it and squared it up best I could. Even re-used most of the old wood and screws. Just needs a new coat of paint, but that is for another day. This thing is so much fun to ride.

Thanks to Monique for taking the photos for me.
