Life and times on a BMX bike.

Well, to celebrate a good first three months of starting this Blog back up, we have decided to have a little give away. With the help of Empire BMX and Mutiny Bikes we will be choosing 10 random people from the comments on this post and will be sending out care boxes to each of them. So get ready to post something in the comments and see if you can get some goodies.

I am not sure if this was the original trailer for Homeless III "Highway To Hell", but it is the the opening title sequence for sure. The slap at the intro was not in the original intro so that is what makes me think that this might have been a trailer. I remember that slap being in the crash section. Here is to hoping David Parrick has made some good progress on getting that "Homeless" box set ready.

It looks like every rider in south Texas at that time were riding some sort of Haro bike. I think we kept that company afloat for a few extra years. Those frames used to crack so much, it is a surprise that we just didn't give up on them. Oh, wait. We kinda did. Thanks James and Ruben. Homeless Bikes might have been short lived but I will never forget that moment in time. Neither should you.

UPDATE!  Added a few more sections.

By the time Dave Parrick releases the Homeless Box Set, the BMX rider would have been long extinct. The last confirmed sighting of one being at 9th Street Austin, TX, a former breeding ground for BMX riders but now a Walmart.

The Homeless videos were badass. Along w/ the Dirt Bros they were some of the first street videos out.

I really enjoyed that, it always seems like bmx was way more fun back then :)

The early 90's was probably my favourite era of BMX as far as tricks go. So much stuff you don't see anymore, like barspin tailtap (instead of barspin to tap)

Homeless videos were a way of life. Just havin fun all the time and shit talking to no end. I mean I'm 18, aint that good on a bike but i know from watching videos like these that having fun is 10 000 times better than just always slamming out new bizarre tricks.

I think the homeless videos are so badass, it shows you dont have to have the most amazing bike to do cool stuff, and its really influential, It makes me wanna go ride haha, keep it real.

Great stuff. growing up in north texas it was a little different, GT dominated the scene around us.
Makes me miss growing up back in the 80's.

So good, that double peg on the rail must have seemed so sick back then, I miss having BMX videos like this, Little Devil, and old FBM..

There is too much "industry" not enough fun now.

First time ive watched a 90's video and seen a 180 over a box jump. Reminds me of watching the fox expandable youth videos. Cheers

I think I freaked out Sheps a little bit when I finally met him last November, telling him how much Homeless had meant to me at the time… but watching this only confirms how I feel about it. Sure, some of it is just part of getting older, but it really seems like shit was a lot more loose and fun before everything got so damn "pro" and serious.

Yeah Ed, thats the trailer you have there. I just poped in an original VHS Of H2H and it goes right from the test pattern to the flaming H, then to James and Reuben. I cant wait for the box set, so I just watched them all again this morning. I just scored an original copy of the first Trend video and just finished transfering Clowns Full of Hate to DVD. ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!

I loved riding trails back then. My favorite seaon was probably 1991. Trails in Northern CA ruled. -Dan
