Anyone recall why he used three brake levers? I think it had something to do with one hand one footers.

3 brake levers.
1 for front brake.
1 on each side of bars for rear brake.
1 hand 1 footer - top hand or bottom hand - each hand on the bars could lock rear wheel to hold cranks level.
