Our Saturday bike ended up having a quick visit to the Bao Quang Temple which is very close to our house. They even gave J and I a quick tour of the Temple and let us play on their playground.

The Rig Is Back Together--Solid
Manage to finally get the rig back together and feeling like a bike that I feel comfortable on. Needs one or two little tweaks, but as it is it feels great.
And here is a photo of me squeaking on the coping in our backyard. Thanks to Jonas for taking such rad photos. You rule!
And big thanks to Empire, Profile, Demolition and Solid BMX!

Here is part two from the Bicycle Motocross Action post. Loving seeing the test on this Cook Bros bike. So many cool ideas happening there.

Good 'ol Comp III
The old Comp II has been with me for a long time. It was getting a bunch of attention at the trails the other day. Find one and get it. Install on front wheel and enjoy. 2.125 tan for life!

Sunday Self Filmed Clips
Had a chance yesterday to get out for awhile and get some riding in on the BMX. I have been on nose manual kick as of late, and getting use to hoping onto something using the front brake felt so good. Those c-ledges that are in Travis Park have always haunted me and I have been wanting to get a nose manual all the way around one, it just never really worked out. I was lucky to get a few runs on them and get some of the tries recorded before all the tweakers showed up and tried to grab my camera. Here is a clip of one of the first tries, and a quick clip of an opposite feeble grind I found.

BMX Action--January 1984 Part One
"Factory Kuwie ace, Troy Daniels, takin' care of biz at the NBL grands." That is what the inside contents description says. Not sure who Troy was, but he sure scored a kick ass cover on his 24.
I always get a kick out of seeing some of the reader submitted photos. And when the names Todd Anderson and Hugo Gonzales are attached to two of them in the same gallery, you know I would have to post them. Legends!
For the longest time I wanted a Redline, and when they introduced the Carrera II, I wanted one even more so. Well, that never really happened, but damn, the Carrera II is one of the coolest bikes Redline produced.

Nose Manual At The Pre-fab Park
Had a good little session at the pre-fab park on the south side. Felt good to lock into a bunch of nose manuals.

Deluxe Front End Update
I have been sweating the front end on my trail bike for some time now. Having all that extra steerer tube sticking out was getting a little old to look at, not to mention the chances of having it rip me wide open. Well I finally picked up a guide to cut it down and decrease my stack height. I actually like my front ends a little lower, and the addition of the 2.125 Comp III on the front makes this bike ride like a dream. Even more now that the stem height is were I like it.
And after.
