And here we are. 55! I was trying to come up something witty about Sammy Hager, but that just had me craving Tequila and a relisten of 5150. But at this point, I will settle for Dairy Queen and a good ol' endo. Cheers! And here's to another year.

Another gem from that lost tape we found the other day. At this point I was riding with a separated left shoulder, and to get and extension on these had me feeling good. And thanks to Tom at Empire for saying that these looked so good. HAHAHA!

Found 1993 VHS Footage

Recent VHS find of lost footage from one of the lot jams at Discovery Cycle in San Antonio off of San Pedro and 281featuring Kevin Gutierrez and Ed Koenning. That was such a fun shop, and the ramps stored in the back always provided for a fun after work time.

Sunday Klunker Spin

Went for a fun Sunday Klunker spin around the Semmes Library Park up to the Commanche Tower. This old Klunker bike rides so good.

A Fun Day In Austin

Spent most of the day up in Austin this past Saturday. Spent most of my time riding the trails at 9th Street and finally getting a tour of Empire BMX. I was pretty much in awe all day long and managed to only shoot one photo of Smokin' Steve Tyler's kick ass Bontrager build. His collect is amazing and so is the new Empire location. All in all a great day spent riding and hanging out with friends. And to top it of I ran into the legend himself Lee Sultemeier.

Big thanks to everyone on Facebook and Twitter and of course in "real life" for all the birthday wishes. And like I do every year, I take either the week of, or the week after my birthday off from work. Lots of good times were had with the family and of course we had some really fun relaxing days. Last year I even took the month of September off from posting on the Blog. Had a bunch of really good guest poster fill in and was just looking back on some of the post. Sunday Self Filmed Clips

Had a chance yesterday to get out for awhile and get some riding in on the BMX. I have been on nose manual kick as of late, and getting use to hoping onto something using the front brake felt so good. Those c-ledges that are in Travis Park have always haunted me and I have been wanting to get a nose manual all the way around one, it just never really worked out. I was lucky to get a few runs on them and get some of the tries recorded before all the tweakers showed up and tried to grab my camera. Here is a clip of one of the first tries, and a quick clip of an opposite feeble grind I found.
