Taking a minute to post part two of the Freestylin' September 1986 issue. A look into a little bit of the craziness of tour life. The sequence of RL doing a rebound was cool and all, I just always preferred a windshield wiper.

Freestylin' -- January 1988

Josh White with another amazing cover shot. These tour issues were always a fun look into some of the different team tours. Nice seeing some of the goings on with the riders.

Great opening shot of the Tour 1987 article. I used to love those CW tires. We used to poach them off all the CW bikes that were in the the bike shop I worked at.

Dino DeLuca airing over an alley-ooping Dave Voelker. Cutting it a little close on that one. Wonder how many times these guys hit? The Air over 540 at the Haro shows were always the best.

2-Hip KOV Minnesota

Another cool 2-HIP video from Haro82's Channel. Dominquez is so rad. That face knock in practice he took dropping in over the channel looked brutal.

This comes from his interview in Freestylin' magazine August 1986. There is so many rad things about that first picture I can't even describe it. Crap! I need to go ride my bike!

BMX Action October 1987

Matt Hoffman on the cover of this issue. Vision Street Wear half pipe contest and GPV contest in Palm Springs. Classic Hoffman style from before he turned pro.

Oh, the times of GPV. Gravity Powered Vehicles with all of their add on wind deflectors, bug shields and other little do-dads. This didn't seem to catch on very well, but I shouldn't say that. I still enjoy bombing down big hills on my bike. Just not in that position.

While overall, the content of this issue was a bit on the thin side. The coverage from the vert contest in Palm Springs pretty much made up for it. Josh White doing a can-can look back.

That shot of Matt Hoffman doing that switch hander is so good. Made my want to learn that air so bad. To bad that I sucked at vert.

Josh White was killing it a this contest. He always had the best variations, and that no footed x-up was one of them. He was always one of the smoothest in the Pro class.
