Road Forced Perspective

"tout va bien se passer"

Which if I'm correct, translates to something like "everything is going to be alright"

I am always in awe of how these Go Pro Max cameras have a truly wonderful way of pushing the road force perspective. Often, in both directions. Reminds me of the road travels, and the future roads ahead. Get peddling!

Currently listening to Forced Perspective -- Samba Jean-Baptiste.

Fun Ride Through Town

Just a quick spin around Downtown San Antonio on my Redline Monocoq cruiser. Always a blast to ride this bike around and finally getting to editing a few of the clips. Just a test run until I find some editing software I like.

Found 1993 VHS Footage

Recent VHS find of lost footage from one of the lot jams at Discovery Cycle in San Antonio off of San Pedro and 281featuring Kevin Gutierrez and Ed Koenning. That was such a fun shop, and the ramps stored in the back always provided for a fun after work time.

The Battering Ramsdell!!

View the newest big from Leigh Ramsdell. Looks like Leigh has built himself a new mountain bike. Looks like a fun ride, then you can fix your fence after you are done.

Freestylin' August 1986

That all white cover, sick Josh White photograph, and some hand written note about magazine rules. Still an amazing cover.

Good 'ol Greg Hill Tuck

As I sit here nursing a sore shoulder which is keeping me from riding, I was thinking about how much I still enjoy a good Greg Hill tuck, “boosted” off of any object.

BMX Plus October 1985

Distant memories of when this issue of BMX Plus came out. It is actually the "October" 1985 issue, but the coverage in it, seems to be from a bunch of summer comps and races. The pictures from that Venice Beach contest are amazing, case in point, that cover picture of Dizz Hicks is BONKERS! Download here if you want to see more: BMX Plus October 1985

BMX Plus March 1984 Freestyle Section

A small section from the March 1984 issue of BMX Plus, two pages of your favorite Freestyle action. Zoot Scooting Boogie, or something like that it how BMX Plus would describe it.

The Build Of The S&M ATF

These wheels have been sitting in the garage for some time. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to build up another bike. Because who doesn't need more bikes?

A perfect blend of parts. S&M cruiser bars, stem and fork. Add in a set of these classic Shimano XTR brakes with Odyssey brake cables, great combo.

The New S&M 26" ATF

Somewhere in my garage has been sitting a super nice set of 26 inch cruiser wheels for the past few years. A pair of low flange Suzue sealed bearing hubs laced to Mavic machined sidewall rims with DT spokes. And those seemed like the perfect reason for a new bike build.

The S&M LTF frame in translucent green made for a fitting frame to build with these wheels and assorted Profile and Thompson parts. And to finish it off, my obsession of owning every last pair of Shimano XTR V-Brakes, this bike had to have a pair of these on it.

Time For An Update

The old Redline cruiser is ready for some maintenance and updates. Not sure what is to come for the ride, but it has been a great bike.
